How Short Term Solution Focused Therapy Works
a step-by-step overview
-
Begin by identifying what you want to achieve. Instead of focusing on problems, clarify your vision for the future and define concrete, achievable goals.
Example question: "What would life look like if this problem were solved?"
-
Highlight and celebrate even the smallest signs of progress, reinforcing positive momentum and helping you stay motivated.
-
Collaboratively create practical, solution-focused strategies to address your goals. Focus on what works, rather than what doesn’t.
Example task: Try out one small, specific change in your daily routine and reflect on the results.
-
Regularly review progress, adjust strategies as needed, and focus on maintaining the positive changes you’ve made.
Example question: "What’s working well, and what can we tweak to keep moving forward?"
-
Once your goals are met or significant progress has been made, conclude therapy, leaving with tools and insights to sustain growth on your own.
Commit to Your Healing Journey
To achieve meaningful progress, clients are asked to commit to 6 focused, 1-hour therapy sessions, to be completed within 12 weeks, offered at a bundled rate of $900.
