Leadership Development Through Speaking, Training, and Workshops

Talks That Inspire Change

  • High-performing professionals often struggle with doubt and perfectionism. This keynote helps participants recognize imposter feelings, reframe their self-perception, and build resilience for sustainable success.

  • Difficult conversations are often avoided, but they’re essential for growth. This workshop equips leaders with practical strategies to approach conflict, deliver feedback with clarity and compassion, and foster open dialogue that moves teams forward.

  • Trust is the cornerstone of effective leadership. This presentation highlights practical tools for building credibility, repairing broken trust, and leading through times of uncertainty.

  • Inclusive leaders don’t just talk about equity, they embody it. This workshop explores how to lead with cultural humility, foster belonging, and unlock innovation by valuing diverse perspectives.

  • Conflict isn’t a problem to avoid, it’s an opportunity to build stronger teams. This session provides frameworks for addressing disagreements productively, creating resolution that strengthens relationships and results.

  • In fast-paced workplaces, reflection often gets overlooked. This session teaches leaders how to slow down, evaluate their decisions, and develop practices that enhance self-awareness, decision-making, and long-term impact.

Charla facilitated a Self-Identity workshop for our members earlier this year. She was professional, prepared, and delivered a strong workshop that our members really enjoyed. Charla is a great asset to the Indianapolis community and a great partner of Public Allies Indianapolis.

What I Do Best

  • I’m a therapist - highly emotional conversations don’t scare me. I know how to guide groups through complex topics with compassion, clarity, safety, and confidence.

  • Too often, professional development, though informative, falls short in producing actionable change in its audience. My workshops bridge this gap, and I work to ensure participants walk away with an action plan for how they can apply what they’ve learned to their work.

  • I don’t shy away from hard truths. I have a unique ability to challenge an audience’s thinking without leaving participants feeling torn down.

  • My speaking style is less lecture, and more active. I challenge passive participants to engage in self-reflection and push their preconceived ideas.
